1. General
Destruction and/or disposal of stock inventory, refers to the complete destruction of all inventory of any First or Second Schedule biological agent or Fifth Schedule toxin.
2. Controls
Facilities are required to notify the Ministry of Health of destruction and/or disposal of stock inventory of First and Second Schedule biological agent and Fifth Schedule toxin.
Refer to the respective sections for other notifications related to:
(a)
Transfer and Failure of Receipt of First and Second Schedule biological agents, and Fifth Schedule toxins; and
(b)
Update inventory or information related to the possessed First and Second Schedule biological agents, and Fifth Schedule toxins.
3. Procedure
Login to HALP-Biosafety and submit a Notification of Complete Destruction and/or Disposal of Stock Inventory once the facility has destroyed and/or disposed the facility's stocks of any First or Second Schedule biological agent, or Fifth Schedule toxin.
