COVID-19 Mental Wellness Taskforce
Following the onset of COVID-19 and resulting stressors, the COVID-19 Mental Wellness Taskforce was set up to look into the mental health impact of the pandemic on the Singapore population. The Taskforce was set up to,
(a) connect key Ministries and agencies involved in mental health and well-being,
(b) facilitate stock-take and discussion of existing and planned initiatives to prevent overlaps in services, and
(c) identify gaps in our national provision of mental health support and collectively develop recommendations to address them.
This report provides an overview of the findings of the inter-agency COVID-19 Mental Wellness Taskforce established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in October 2020.
