A key initiative of the National Strategic Action Plan on AMR is unified surveillance across human, animal, food, and environmental sectors. The 2017 One Health Report reviews activities up to 2017.
A key initiative of the National Strategic Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance is to unify and coordinate surveillance for antimicrobial utilisation and resistance across the human, animal, food and environment sectors. The One Health Report for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance, 2017 is the first multi-sectoral surveillance report and provides an overview of the main national surveillance activities conducted in the human, animal, food and environment sectors up to the end of 2017.
The Report is a collaboration between members of the One Health Antimicrobial Resistance Workgroup, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Environment Agency (NEA), Animal & Veterinary Service of National Parks Board (NParks/AVS), Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and PUB, the National Water Agency. The Report was compiled with the assistance of the Antimicrobial Resistance Coordinating Office (AMRCO), National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
