Summary of Responses to Comments received from Public Consultation on Draft Provisions in the Food Safety and Security Bill

The Ministry of Health (MOH) conducted a public consultations from 16 August to 6 September 2024 to seek views on the draft provisions of the Food Safety and Security Bill (FSSB) that pertain to health promotion. This was part of the public consultation for various FSSB draft provisions conducted by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and Singapore Food Agency from 15 March to 6 September 2024.

MOH received comments on the draft FSSB provisions that pertain to health promotion from 17 respondents. A summary of the comments received and MOH’s responses to them are set out in Annex A (see Pages 9, 55 to 61).
