Situation Update
There are no new probable cases today and no discharges. The number of patients who have recovered from SARS remains at 155. 21 patients remain hospitalised, of whom 8 are in intensive care.
The latest date of onset of a probable case is on 27 April 03. This case was isolated on 28 April 03. So far, there have been no cases reported with dates of onset later than 27 April 03.
A 44-year old TTSH nurse passed away today. She was admitted to TTSH on 12 March and was transferred to ICU on 17 March where she had remained since.
Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre situation update
There have been no new admissions of suspect SARS patients who may be related to the PPWC cluster. 1 worker has been admitted for observation.
New Suspect Cases
There are no new suspect cases today.
New Observation Cases
There were 3 patients admitted today as observation cases. They comprise 1 patient who had travelled to SARS-affected areas recently and 2 patients whose contact history has not been established.

*Quarantine cases refer to those who are required to stay at home for precautionary reasons as they may have had contact with a SARS patient. These are healthy individuals.
