New ICU cases
Case 1
A 70-year-old Chinese female in SGH with medical history of diabetes and kidney transplant was tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1-2009).
Case 2
A 23-year-old Chinese male in NUH with a medical history of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (a type of muscular dystrophy characterized by rapid progression of muscle degeneration), restrictive lung disease secondary to scoliosis and superior mesenteric artery syndrome (rare, life-threatening gastrointestinal disorder) was tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1-2009).
