There are 46 confirmed Influenza A (H1N1-2009) cases in hospitals, including 1 in ICU.
A 51-year-old man with multiple co-morbidities (diabetes, hypertension) is in ICU in CGH. He had sought treatment at the Hospital Emergency Department on 8 Jul, after 4 days of flu-like symptoms. His family sent him to CGH when his condition deteriorated. Laboratory diagnosis confirmed that he was also infected with H1N1.
As of 14 July, he is in stable condition in ICU.
