Update on Food poisoning incident at Pat’s Schoolhouse

MOH was notified of another food poisoning incident involving 22 children and 8 teachers from The Children’s Place at Kay Siang Road on 12 May. The Children’s Place is also supplied by Mum’s Kitchen Catering Pte Ltd. Together with the cases at Pat’s Schoolhouse, a total of 240 children and 8 teachers have been affected in this incident.

2 Most of the cases have recovered. Seventeen of the affected cases are now receiving treatment in hospital, including the seven cases reported earlier. They are in stable condition.

3 Investigations are ongoing and further updates will be given when available.

4 The caterer’s premises remains closed following NEA’s suspension order yesterday.
