Question No. 2483
To ask the Minister for Health to better monitor the demand and take-up rates under Healthier SG, whether there will be a centralised system for patients to make scheduled appointments through phone calls or the HealthHub mobile application.
Question No. 2484
To ask the Minister for Health (a) whether eligible patients who do not register with a general practitioner (GP) under Healthier SG will be systematically targeted and incentivised to sign up; and (b) whether the Ministry will consider enrolling them automatically with their nearest available GP with the option to change it subsequently.
Answer
There will be a centralised system for residents to sign-up for Healthier SG. To facilitate residents in their choice of a General Practitioner, clinics frequented recently or near their home will be prioritised in their options. The preferred mode of enrolment is for residents to take responsibility and make a conscious decision to embark on a journey towards better health instead of automatic enrolment. We are working with Agency for Integrated Care and grassroots organisations to reach out to eligible residents to encourage them to enrol into Healthier SG.
