Senior Minister of State for Information, Communications and the Arts and Health, Dr Balaji Sadasivan, will be visiting Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in India from 5-10 January 2006.

In Hyderabad, Dr Balaji will be participating in the 4th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, an international networking conference of people of Indian ethnic origins, and will speak on "Diaspora Partnership in Healthcare". Dr Balaji will meet with government officials and business leaders in Tamil Nadu with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the area of healthcare and economic development.

Dr Balaji will be accompanied by official from the Ministry of Health.
