Senior Minister of State for Health, Dr Amy Khor, will lead a delegation to Bangkok, Thailand, from 14 to 15 December 2014 for the ASEAN Plus Three Health Ministers’ Special Meeting on Ebola Preparedness and Response.

2 The meeting will update on the current situation of Ebola outbreak in West Africa. It will also review the progress of national preparedness in all ASEAN Plus Three member states. In addition, the meeting aims to build consensus and commitment among the ASEAN Plus Three Health Ministers towards international and regional collaborations to strengthen national capacities against Ebola Virus Disease.

3 Senior Minister of State Dr Khor will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
