Senior Minister of State (Health) Dr Amy Khor to Attend the Prince Mahidol Award Conference

1 Senior Minister of State (Health) Dr Amy Khor will attend the Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 29 to 31 January 2016. She will be sharing about Singapore’s universal health coverage and the implementation of MediShield Life at a plenary session. SMS Khor will also meet with Thailand Minister of Public Health Prof Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn on the sidelines of PMAC to establish ties and explore potential collaborations in healthcare.

2 PMAC is an annual international conference focusing on policy-related health issues of global significance. It is attended by policymakers, senior officers, and staff of national bodies. The theme for PMAC 2016 is “Priority Setting for Universal Health
Coverage”.

3 SMS Khor will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
