Question No. 6095
To ask the Minister for Health what is the schedule, by region and on a quarterly basis, for the anticipated completion of Active Ageing Centres that will be funded by the proposed increase in budget for this purpose.
Answer
1 Since the inception of Active Ageing Centres (AACs) in 2021, the Ministry of Health and the Agency for Integrated Care have set up 208 AACs 1. We will continue to scale this to 220 AACs by 2025. The AACs will be distributed across all parts of Singapore, such that eight in ten seniors will have access to AAC activities near their homes by 2025. The locations of AACs, when confirmed, can be found on the SupportGoWhere website.
1 Number of AACs is accurate as of May 2024.
