Parliamentary Secretary to attend High-Level Forum on Health Millennium Development Goals in Asia and the Pacific

Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, Parliamentary Secretary (Health and Community Development, Youth and Sports), will be attending the High-Level Forum on Health Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Asia and the Pacific, from 21 to 22 June 2005.

The Forum, organised by the Government of Japan, the Asian Development Bank, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the World Health Organisation, will take stock of progress, identify challenges and opportunities, and enable participants to share their experiences and best practices in work on the MDGs.

Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Health.
