Question No. 1010
To ask the Minister for Health (a) from April 2021 to June 2021, how many short-term visit pass holders have entered and are staying in Singapore; (b) how many of them are fully vaccinated; and (c) whether COVID-19 vaccination will be made available to short-term visit pass holders.
Written Answer
There were over 30,000 short-term visitor arrivals (excluding lorry/van drivers) from 1 April 2021 to 30 June 2021. Out of these arrivals, almost 17,000 individuals were still in Singapore as of 30 August 2021. The breakdown of the vaccination status of these individuals is not available.
Since 18 August, the Ministry of Health has extended the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme to short-term pass holders who have been in Singapore for at least 60 days continuously.
