Update on NHS 2010
Last update on 21 April 2010
The National Health Survey (NHS) 2010 ended its survey fieldwork on 28 March at Woodlands Polyclinic. The Survey is ongoing at 5 other survey venues - Bukit Batok Polyclinic, Tampines Polyclinic, Hougang Polyclinic, Toa Payoh South Community Club and Outram Polyclinic.
We thank all the participants for taking part in NHS 2010. For the first time, we have a Lucky Draw to encourage participation. 20 lucky participants from Woodlands Polyclinic won $300 worth of grocery vouchers each. They have all been notified about their wins.
One delighted winner was Mr Mohamad Ali Bin Amat. When he was notified that he had been selected for the survey, Mohamad was most happy to take part in the Survey as he could find out more about his general health status. He lives near Woodlands Polyclinic and it was convenient for him to go there for some basic screening tests such as for diabetes and high blood cholesterol. In the survey process, Mohamad also picked up some good health tips.
Another happy winner was Mr Yong Khiam Chin who was glad to take part in the Survey as his last health checkup was done some years ago.
MOH would like to encourage all the invited members of public to take part in the NHS 2010. Besides getting a free health check, they stand a chance to win for themselves the $300 lucky draw prize.
