A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed between Singapore and Brunei Darussalam to promote closer cooperation in healthcare between the two countries.
The MOU establishes a framework for greater collaboration between healthcare establishments in both countries to promote and strengthen postgraduate medical training and research. It provides for reciprocal postgraduate medical training and research for trainees at teaching hospitals in either Brunei or Singapore.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Mr Moses Lee will be signing the MOU with his Bruneian counterpart Dato Paduka Haji Zainal Bin Haji Momin on 6 Dec 2004. Mr Lee is currently visiting Brunei Darussalam from 6 to 7 Dec 2004.
