More information on whole body donation
We thank Mr Guo Jing An (死后我也要“捐尸”, 26 May) for considering the donation of his body after death.
The decision to donate one’s whole body for medical research and education is a very meaningful one.
Whole body donations allow doctors and medical students the ability to research new life-saving medical and surgical procedures and techniques. Every donation is treated with care and dignity. Singaporeans and Non-Singaporeans aged 18 and above, who are not mentally disordered, can donate their bodies.
Members of the public who wish to know more or who wish to pledge their whole body for medical research may contact the National Organ Transplant Unit at 63214390 or organ.transplant@notu.com.sg. You may also visit www.liveon.sg for more information.

死后我也要“捐尸”
看晚报关于“尸体”捐献的报道,我也想过世后“尸捐”,但不知要去哪间医院询问,也不知电话号码,可否指点小弟?
