As of 5pm today, a total of 1377 patients have signed up for the Subutex Voluntary Rehabilitation Programme (SVRP).
The Ministry would like to remind all Subutex users that the sign-up for SVRP will end on Sunday, 27 Aug 06. All Subutex users who have yet to sign up are strongly encouraged to do so with their current doctors treating their opiate dependence. Doctors should also try their best to call and counsel their patients on Subutex to step forward and sign up for SVRP. The Ministry's hotlines will be kept open until midnight on Sunday 27 Aug 06.
There will be NO extension of the registration end date, and users who do not sign up for SVRP will no longer receive their Subutex after 28 Aug 06. Please also note that Subutex is not available in the Emergency Medicine Departments (EMD).
Please call the hotline 6325 8607 or 6325 8608 or email bupre@moh.gov.sg to sign up for SVRP.
