Minister of State (Health) Dr Lam Pin Min will attend the 66th World Health Organisation (WHO) Western Pacific Regional Committee Meeting (RCM) in Hagåtña, Guam, from 12-13 October 2015.

2 The Western Pacific RCM is an annual meeting of 37 countries and areas, which is chaired by the Regional Director, Dr Shin Young-soo. It is attended by Health Ministers from the region, as well as senior officials from the WHO.

3 The 66th RCM, held from 12-16 October, will discuss regional health issues, including disease outbreaks, Universal Health Coverage, Tuberculosis, Ageing and Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control.

4 Dr Lam will also meet with his regional counterparts on the sidelines of the RCM to establish ties and explore potential collaborations in healthcare. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
