KEEPING WELL DURING THE LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVITIES
With the Lunar New Year around the corner, the Ministry of Health wishes all Singaporeans a healthy year ahead.
2 MOH would like to urge the public who feel unwell during the festivities to visit their General Practitioner or 24-hour clinic for conditions that are not serious emergencies or life-threatening. More than 130 clinics will be operating at various times over the Lunar New Year public holidays. The public may visit MOH’s website (http://www.moh.gov.sg) for the list of operating clinics during this period and contact their nearest clinic for an appointment.
3 The public is advised to seek medical treatment at hospitals’ Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments only for serious emergencies, such as chest pain, breathlessness, uncontrollable bleeding. The public may visit the HPB website (http://www.hpb.gov.sg/HOPPortal/faces/Resources/AandE) for more information on other conditions which would require a visit to the A&E department.
