Singapore, 30 June 2013 - There has been an improvement in air quality over the course of today. Both the 24-hr PSI and the 24-hr PM2.5 levels have been declining since 11:00am on 30 June 2013. As at 11:00pm today, the 24-hr PSI is 50-54 and the 24-hr PM2.5 is 35-47 microgrammes/cubic metre.
2 Showers over Singapore earlier this morning have led to an improvement in the current haze situation. We therefore expect the 24-hour PSI to improve to the Good range (i.e. <50) by early morning of 1 July 2013 and to stay that way until the evening. The 24-hour PM2.5 level is also expected to improve.
