The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioners Act 2000 provides for the Minister for Health to appoint the TCM Practitioners Board.
Minister has appointed 7 members to the Board, with Mr Ch'ng Jit Koon as its Chairman and Dr Wong Kum Leng, Head, Traditional and Complementary Medicine Branch, Ministry of Health, as its Registrar.
The other Board members appointed are:
Mr Neo Say Hai (TCM practitioner)
Mr Sia Bak Chiang (TCM practitioner)
Mr Ong Boo Gong (TCM practitioner)
Associate Professor Lee Tat Leang (Registered medical practitioner)
Dr Hong Hai (Lay member)
The members of the Board will be appointed for a term of 3 years with effect from 7 Feb 2001
