Building healthcare capacity

We are enhancing healthcare accessibility to ensure Singaporeans receive appropriate healthcare in the right setting, when they need it. Over the last decade, we have added more than 1,200 acute beds and 500 community hospital beds. From now till 2020, we target to add at least 1,700 acute beds, from the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital.

MOH continues to build capacity for all levels of healthcare facilities and services, which allow Singaporeans to better choose the right type of care to suit their needs.
