5TH ASEAN Health Ministers' Meeting

The 5th ASEAN Health Ministers' Meeting will be held in Yogyakarta from 28th to 29th April 2000. It will be preceded by a Senior Officials' Meeting from 25th to 27th April 2000.

Singapore will be represented by the Minister for Health, Mr Lim Hng Kiang. He will be accompanied by two senior officials from the Ministry of Health.

The Meeting will discuss amongst other issues, the development of a framework for Healthy ASEAN 2020 and a regional action plan on the impact of globalisation and trade liberalisation on the health sector.
