To ask the Minister for Health what has been the trend in teenage abortions over the last five years.
Answer
Over the last five years (2017-2021), the incidence rate of pregnancies and abortions among teenagers remained largely unchanged, at 4 in 1000 and 2 in 1000 teenage females respectively.
