Minister for Health, Mr Ong Ye Kung, will attend the third Global Health Forum on 17 July 2024 in Beijing, China, where he will deliver a keynote speech.
2 The Global Health Forum, a conference under the ambit of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), serves as a platform for government officials, international organisations, health experts and business leaders to discuss global health issues and promote the development of the global healthcare industry. The theme for this year’s Global Health Forum is “Health Beyond Health – In the Year of Sustainable Development 2030”.
3 During the trip, Mr Ong will meet members of the BFA Board of Directors, representatives of the BFA Council of Advisors, as well as Chinese and foreign senior officials at the forum. He will also visit local healthcare institutions in Beijing.
4 Mr Ong will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
