What are Vaccination and Childhood Developmental Screening Subsidies?
The Vaccination and Childhood Development Screening Subsidies (VCDSS) enable eligible Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Permanent Residents (PRs) to receive subsidies for nationally recommended vaccinations and Childhood Development Screenings at polyclinics and/or Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) GP clinics
What are the benefits?
For vaccinations:
At CHAS GPs, SCs benefit from subsidies for nationally-recommended vaccinations listed on the Subsidised Vaccine List, and need to only pay the following amounts after government subsidies (See table 1):
Eligible SCs children: $0
Eligible Pioneer Generation (PG) cardholders: capped at $9 to $16 per vaccination dose
Eligible Merdeka Generation (MG), CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders: capped at $18 to $31 per vaccination dose
Other eligible adult SCs: capped at $35 to $63 per vaccination dose
At the polyclinics and selected MOH-funded long-term care institutions (e.g. nursing homes and home medical service providers), SCs and PRs may receive subsidies for nationally recommended vaccinations. Eligible children may receive up to full subsidies and eligible adults may receive up to 75% subsidy. PG and MG seniors will also receive an additional 50% and 25% off their subsidised vaccination bills respectively. Please contact your preferred healthcare provider for further information.
For SCs enrolled under Healthier SG, nationally-recommended vaccinations will be fully subsidised at their enrolled Healthier SG Primary Care Provider. Please visit Healthier SG for more information.
For Childhood Developmental Screenings:
Eligible SC children will receive full subsidies for the seven childhood developmental screenings at both CHAS GP clinics and polyclinics. Eligible PR children can also receive subsidies for the seven childhood developmental screenings at polyclinics.
