List of suspensions and terminations/revocations from healthcare financing schemes
This page lists institutions and practitioners suspended or terminated/revoked from MOH financing schemes like CHAS, MediSave, and MediShield Life, with resources for verifying approved providers and feedback.
Ensuring quality healthcare and proper use of financing schemes
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is committed to ensuring that the public receives safe, affordable, accessible and good quality healthcare.
MOH monitors and acts on complaints against licensed healthcare institutions and practitioners of breaches of regulatory requirements, including those under our healthcare financing schemes, such as the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), MediSave Scheme, MediShield Life Scheme, and HealthierSG.
Medical institutions and practitioners are allowed to submit claims on behalf of their patients for visits, consultations and treatments only after they are accredited by MOH to participate in the respective healthcare financing schemes. For avoidance of doubt, claims cannot be made for patients when the medical institution’s or practitioner’s accreditation application is still under processing.
Claims made under the various healthcare financing schemes may be picked up after submission for audit. Enforcement actions will be taken against doctors found to have made non-compliant claims, to deter inappropriate claim behaviours. These include warnings and mandatory training to refresh the practitioners on rules governing our healthcare financing schemes. The healthcare institutions and practitioners with egregious or repeated non-compliances can have their participation/approval under healthcare financing schemes suspended, terminated or revoked.
The healthcare institutions and practitioners whose participation/approval under healthcare financing schemes have been suspended, terminated or revoked are listed below. The duration a healthcare institution or practitioner remains on the list varies based on the type of offence committed and whether it is a repeat offence. This list will be updated periodically.
