Public Healthcare Clusters
Singapore’s public healthcare system is geographically structured and managed by 3 healthcare clusters:
Central Region: National Healthcare Group (NHG)
Western Region: National University Health System (NUHS)
Eastern Region: Singapore Health Services (SingHealth)
The healthcare clusters provide direct services across the full care spectrum, including Primary care, Acute and Specialist care, as well as Intermediate care. They also serve as Regional Health Managers where they work with and organise partners across the healthcare and social service continuum to:
Drive upstream improvements in care with a focus on improving overall health outcomes of residents in their respective geographical regions.
Right-site patients, especially within the primary, acute, intermediate and specialist care settings that they directly oversee.
Understand groups with higher or more complex needs, and address these needs through targeted outreach/interventions.
